New UNICODE version of Amlib released

Using Unicode you can store bibliographics records from many different languages in the same catalogue.

In the past it has been relatively easy to mix items in french, german, english and all western european languages together, but with a more global market, we should now consider adding mandarin chinese, arabic, russian, polish and other languages. The standard single byte characters sets can not accommodate all the characters used, so you have to move to Unicode. if you want to add catalogue items in polish, arabic or chinese titles, you may find that your library solution simply can not cope. Please contact us to see the new Amlib release with full support for Unicode from web browser and MS-Windows workstations.
